Juan Tonelli is a writer, speaker and executive advisor, with published books and a YouTube channel of stories about what we feel and do not dare to talk about. Claura takes his long videos and turns them into vertical clips that end by inviting viewers to watch the full interview on his channel, followed by the video for his book.

The challenge

Lots of long material to bring to short form

Juan's channel holds hundreds of long videos with stories and interviews. That archive could feed social media with short clips, as long as every clip brought people back to the channel and the book, without editing them one by one.

The solution

Clips with their own ending

Claura runs the long videos through its automatic clipping system: it picks the moments, converts them to vertical format with captions and, in the last seconds of each clip, replaces the captions with an invitation to watch the full interview on his YouTube channel. The book video plays right after the clip.

When that ending was added, the 157 clips already made were generated again so all of them carry it. Since October 8, the clips are published on TikTok.
